1916-2016 Easter Rising Commemorative Postcards
An Post issued a Set of Seven Postcards to commemorative the Centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising. They feature images of the Seven Signatories of the Proclamation grouped by their affiliation to the three movements that organised the 1916 Easter Rising; the Irish Republican Brotherhood, the Irish Volunteers and the Irish Citizen Army. Also featured are images of the Irish Republic Flag, an Extract from the Proclamation, the GPO and the Rebels Jack Doyle and Tom McGrath.

Stampa 2016
Stampa the Irish Philatelic Society issued this Special 1916 Easter Rising Postcard Overprinted to commemorate “Stampa 2016” which was held between the 14th and 16th October 2016, at the Griffith College Conference Centre in Dublin .
County Museum Dundalk-Birth of a Nation Postcard Collection
On Thursday 3rd December 2015, the County Museum Dundalk issued this limited edition of commemorative postcards entitled “Birth of a Nation 1916 Collector Cards.” They were launched by 1916 descendant Pearse O’Hanrahan and County Council Cathaoirleach, Councillor Peter Savage. The collection of twenty postcards come in four sets of five and feature pictures of the executed leaders as well as Countess Constance Markievicz, the Proclamation and the Maid of Erin. An advertising poster accompanied the collection.

Centenary Postcard from Wynn’s Hotel Dublin
This Centenary Postcard was issued by Wynn’s Hotel to show the destruction to the hotel in 1916. Situated close to the GPO, the hotel came under bombardment from British artillery and caught fire. The guests and staff were evacuated under the protection of a white flag. Wynn’s Hotel was burned to the ground and it took ten years for the gutted hotel to reopen.

Booklet and Commemorative Postcards from The Galway Archives
On 4th February 2016, Councillor Peter Roche launched a booklet and a set of seven commemorative postcards entitled “Towards Revolution” at the Irish Workhouse Centre in Portumna, County Galway. The postcards feature a selection of documents held by the Galway Archives which illustrate the lead up to and the consequences of the events in 1916. The booklet in which the postcards are enclosed gives a chronology of events in Galway during Easter Week.

Easter 1916 Historical Pack from Ireland 2016
This commemorative souvenir from Ireland 2016 unfolds to give a day by day account of how the Easter Rising happened from the rebels seizing Dublin landmarks on Monday 24th April to the surrender on Saturday 29th April. The Historical Pack also includes some rare photographs, an original street map of Dublin in 1916 showing the various battle points around the city and a set of descriptive profile cards for the Seven Signatories and Roger Casement. It also contains three postcards and a proclamation historical card.
